Jennifer's fee is €80 per session
Psychotherapy Training and Accreditation
Jennifer is a fully qualified psychotherapist with a Master’s Degree in Pluralistic Counselling and Psychotherapy. She is a pre-accredited member of the IACP (Irish Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists), abides by their code of ethics and is currently in the process of receiving full accreditation. Jennifer holds a certificate in ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) and regularly undertakes courses to support ongoing professional development.
With an academic background in Philosophy (MA) and Literature (BA Hons), Jennifer is deeply committed to approaching all stories with curiosity and deep empathy - creating space for complexity, nuance, and the richness of what it means to be human.
Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach
Jennifer’s therapeutic work is grounded in the belief that we all have capacity to be the authors of our own lives. She works to support clients in understanding the stories they carry (or have inherited) and how they might begin to reimagine those narratives with clarity and compassion. Whatever your story has been so far, therapy is a place to pause, reflect, and begin to write new chapters with greater intention and care.
Jennifer’s therapeutic stance is non-pathologizing, neuro-affirming, respectful of cultural differences and embracing of gender, sexual and relationship diversity. She offers a reflective, compassionate space for self-exploration, supporting clients in the process of enhancing their wellbeing and enriching their lives.
As a pluralistic therapist, Jennifer does not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. She works collaboratively with each individual client to co-create a personal approach to support their wellbeing. Jennifer works from a range of therapeutic traditions - including Person-Centred Therapy, Existential Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems. These approaches enable Jennifer to support clients in exploring their inner world, connecting with values, making space for difficult emotions, and moving toward greater self-understanding and ease.
Counselling Experience and Areas of Interest
In addition to her work with Mind & Body Works, Jennifer works with Trinity College Student Counselling Service.
Jennifer works with a wide range of issues, including feelings of overwhelm, anxiety, depression, disconnection, confusion, relationship difficulties, troubling thoughts or unhelpful patterns of behaviour. She has worked with adults from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds and across a wide range of personal challenges. She works with neuro-divergent clients and LGBTQIA+ individuals, including those in non-traditional relationships.
With her background in philosophy, Jennifer is particularly interested in supporting clients with existential questioning around meaning in life, working at a deep level to explore and clarify values and connect with a sense of purpose and choice.
Above all, Jennifer believes in the value of having your story heard. You do not need to carry your story alone – or to have it all figured out to begin.
When she’s not in session, Jennifer can usually be found reading or practicing martial arts. She holds a 2nd degree black belt in taekwondo and incorporates movement and embodiment practices as significant supports in her own wellbeing.
