Psychotherapy Training & Accreditation
Josh Flowers holds a Master of Arts degree in community counselling and is a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) as well as a Licensed Addiction Counsellor (LAC) in the United States. He specialises in trauma-focused therapy and addiction recovery.
Josh is currently pursuing full accreditation in Ireland. As such, services may not be covered by Irish health insurance providers at this time.
Counselling & Psychotherapeutic Approach
Josh employs a holistic approach to psychotherapy, integrating mindfulness, existential, and trauma-informed therapies. He draws from a range of methods, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), somatic practices, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), tailoring his approach to meet the unique needs of each client.
Counselling Experience & Areas of Interest
With over 18 years of diverse counselling experience, Josh has worked extensively in the fields of trauma recovery and addiction. His areas of interest include anxiety, depression, PTSD, self-esteem challenges, and recovery.
