Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach
Annette views therapy as a safe place for you to explore how you have become who you are and to help empower you in living the life you would like to live. She offers clients a safe, supportive, and accepting environment that is built on trust and confidentiality. In this space, she encourages clients to explore difficulties, possible cognitive distortions, or behavioural presentations and to adjust to a more positive and advantageous lifestyle, through recognising personal strengths, coping mechanisms, and uncovering inner reserves.
Annette works from an Integrative model of therapy, where she incorporates Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Creative Therapy and Psycho-educational modalities.
