Psychotherapy Training and Accreditation
Danielle is a Play and Creative Arts Therapist, she has a Postgraduate Diploma in Play Therapy from the Academy of Play and Child Psychotherapy, awarded by the National University Of Ireland, Galway (NUIG). She is an accredited member of PTIrl.
Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach
Danielle uses a holistic integrative approach in her practice. Children are encouraged to use art, clay, movement, sand play therapy and imagination to express themselves in the therapy room. Danielle is passionate about supporting Children on their healing journeys, integrating the past and moving forward into growth and self-discovery.
Counselling Experience and Areas of Interest
Danielle has worked in schools as well as private practice. Danielle helps her clients navigate certain difficulties that they may be experiencing through their natural way of expression which is play. Danielle believes that building this trusting relationship between client and therapist is paramount for the therapy to be effective. Danielle works with a variety of issues but not limited to Autism (ASD), ADHD, ADD, communication skills, low self-esteem, separation/divorce, social and behavioural issues, anxiety, trauma.
