Psychotherapy Training & Accreditation
Réamonn holds a Masters Degree in Psychotherapy from Dublin Business School (DBS). He also holds a Masters Degree in Health Promotion, a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology and is a qualified personal trainer.
Réamonn is a fully accredited therapist with the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP) and works under the code of ethics of this organisation.
Counselling & Psychotherapeutic Approach
The core philosophy of Réamonn’s practice is person-centred. Réamonn provides a safe, non-judgemental and empathic space which supports clients to explore the important issues in their lives, to increase self-awareness and resilience, to make empowering choices and to relate in more authentic and fulfilling ways. Réamonn practices an integrative style of psychotherapy, incorporating cognitive, emotional and physical approaches to best suit the individual needs of each client.
Counselling Experience & Areas of Interest
Réamonn has worked as a psychotherapist for over 2 years at the Loreto Centre in Crumlin, Dublin. He has worked with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, loss and grief, addiction, sexuality, relationship difficulties, anger issues and feelings of shame and self-loathing. He has a particular interest in OCD/intrusive thoughts and with using mindfulness and breathing techniques to increase self-regulation and well-being.
